Welcome to the Fourth Annual Chili Cook Off to benefit the Huntingdon County Military Share Program. What is the Military Share Program? The program is an initiative coordinated by Mr. Reeder Swartz, a veteran himself in 2018 as a drive thru distribution concept located near War Vets Field in Huntingdon. Monthly, Swartz and other like-minded veterans and their spouses hand out approximately 30 to 40 lbs of dry goods, 15 lbs frozen meat, eggs, milk and fresh vegetables monthly. 100% donations go directly to the organization. Did you know the HCMS feeds approximately 200 veterans and their families right here in Huntingdon County? Contestants: $25.00 per team. Your team is you and one other person. We will supply a heat source, sample cups, spoons, napkins, access to your own private drink station, music, prizes and bragging rights to have entered the coolest cook off in the Commonwealth.
